Installation of the Heliport Approach Azimuth - SAGA (System of Azimuth Guidance for Approach) System! Combining approach azimuth guidance and threshold identification, and coupled with a PAPI system, SAGA provides pilots with the safety and comfort of an "Optical ILS". The SAGA system includes two light units (one Master and one Slave) placed symmetrically on both sides of the Runway (or TLOF) threshold. These units emit unidirectional rotating beams that create a flashing effect, ensuring precise azimuth guidance for helicopter approaches and enhancing landing accuracy and safety.
